In our never ending search for alternative green energy
sources, hydro power is a good choice. Hydro generators have very little effect
on the environment unlike the more traditional power stations that burn fossil
fuels.
It is an extremely clean fuel source because it is fueled
by water. Hydro power has become a popular source of domestic energy in the U.S.
today. It can be available as needed and is a renewable power resource because
it relies on the water cycle that is driven by the sun.
There are many benefits to using hydroelectric power as an
alternative green energy source. Some of those include the fact that it
produces no waste heat pollution or chemicals, it is renewable, has low
maintenance costs, it is inexpensive to operate, and it is also one of the most
responsive powers compared to any of the electric power generating sources.
